Madison Barber

Madison Barber is the newest attorney to join Olson Law, LLC! Madison recognizes that everyone is fighting battles that others know nothing about. For example, individuals seeking the services of an attorney are usually going through one of the most difficult phases of their lives. Madison’s goal is to ensure her clients feel heard, while efficiently advocating for their interests, all in an empathetic effort to make those difficult phases bearable. A guarantee that Madison brings to the table is that, no matter what, you will be guided with understanding, compassion, and a plan to ensure this process is made easier.

Madison’s legal journey began in college, where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies. In college, she worked for Birkholz & Associates, LLC, a criminal defense and family law firm, that solidified her desire to practice law. Thereafter, Madison attended and graduated from the University of St. Thomas School of Law. During law school, Madison was selected for a fellowship where she was paired with a legal aid firm in Southern Minnesota to assist on family law cases for low-income clients. This entailed a summer full of working on dissolution actions, custody disputes, and attending mediations. After the fellowship concluded, Madison continued to advance her legal skills by becoming a certified student attorney for the Dakota County Attorney’s Office. There, she assisted in prosecuting child protection and juvenile delinquency matters in the courtroom.

Shortly after graduating from law school, Madison joined Olson Law, LLC as a law clerk. Madison was impressed by Olson Law’s commitment to helping each client’s individual needs, with compassion and no judgement. After being hired, Madison began zealously working on cases in any capacity she could while studying for the Bar Exam. Our firm recognized the valuable skills that Madison brought to the table as our law clerk and her eagerness to practice law, so we brought her on as an Attorney as soon as she passed the bar exam.
